The packaging on these lip balms is completely compostable vegetable material. The labels are recycled posterboard and the ink/art are acrylics.  The entire product is throwaway compostable. Having fun creating these environmental products. They are cheap and hand manufactured, eliminating extra costs with chemicals. This product is made in the USA drug free.
